Ahead of our meeting, we will prepare ring samples and customized sample media, tailored to your design specifications, so you can feel confident seeing examples of design styles.
Next, we view our hand-picked diamond or gemstone options together. We’ll provide education on how to evaluate gemstones and help you find ‘the one’.. Once we’ve finalized your design, we create custom 3D digital renderings for your approval, before your ring is hand crafted. This ensures that the only surprise you’ll receive is a good one.

Absolutely. Our new Vancouver design studio is now open! We’re conveniently located at Pacific Centre and open by appointment after work hours and on the weekend. . We begin with a short phone consultation to learn about your story, aesthetic, and priorities. From there, you’ll work 1:1 with a designer (never a salesperson) to select your centre stone, explore settings, and refine the details of your custom jewelry piece. You’ll review detailed 3D digital renderings before we craft the ring, so you can approve the look and proportions with confidence. Many clients begin by designing an engagement ring and later return for wedding bands or other pieces of custom milestone jewelry.
Our 3D digital renderings are true-to-scale representations of your ring. They show every element, from prong style and profile height to exact proportions. We’ll walk through each rendering together before we begin crafting. Clients often tell us the final ring looks even more beautiful in person.
No. Many clients come to us with a few ideas, inspiration photos, or only a general sense of the style they like. During your design meeting, we’ll help you compare stone shapes, settings, proportions, and practical details so the ring starts to take shape naturally.
Yes, in many cases we can work with an heirloom diamond or gemstone. We’ll carefully assess the stone first, then walk you through what is possible, how it can be protected in the new design, and how to honour the meaning behind the original piece.
It takes approximately 8 weeks from the time you place your order (following our design meeting). Shorter and longer timelines may be accommodated as well. We recommend reaching out at least 12 weeks before your proposal date, to ensure you have plenty of time to make changes at your own pace without feeling rushed.
